An email alias allows you to receive messages at a secondary address without creating a new mailbox. For example, you can receive messages sent to [EMAIL] directly [ADDRESS] [EMAIL].
This help article explains how to create an email alias from LWS Panel, how to check that it works, and how to delete it if you no longer need it.
This help article concerns managing email aliases from LWS Panel.
Are you using a different environment?
An email alias is an additional address linked to an existing mailbox.
It has no password of its own, no storage space of its own, and no inbox of its own. Messages sent to the alias are automatically delivered to the main mailbox it is associated with.
Example: if you add the alias [EMAIL] to the mailbox [EMAIL], messages sent to [EMAIL] will be received in the mailbox [EMAIL].
An alias is mainly used to receive messages. [PERSON_NAME], you cannot send an email using the alias [ADDRESS]. Some email clients may allow this with the appropriate configuration.
To create an alias, you must already have a mailbox to which this alias will be attached.
The address chosen for the alias must not already be used as a mailbox, forwarding, or another alias.
The number of aliases available depends on your plan. Most plans allow up to 100 aliases per domain. A domain-name-only plan without an option is limited to 1 alias.

For example, to create the address [EMAIL], enter only contact.
The alias is created when it appears in the list of aliases associated with the main mailbox.
Send a test message to the alias address [PERSON_NAME] create.
Then open the main mailbox associated with this alias, from Roundcube or from your usual email client.
If the message arrives in this mailbox, the alias is working correctly.
A correctly configured alias [PERSON_NAME] messages [ADDRESS] main mailbox to which it is attached.

After deletion, future messages sent to this alias will no longer be received by the main mailbox.
I don't see the “Add an Alias” button
Make sure [PERSON_NAME] data-end="4120" data-start="4091">Email addresses > Emails and that you clicked the Action button for an existing mailbox.
If no mailbox yet exists [ADDRESS], first create a main email address before adding an alias.
The alias [PERSON_NAME]>
Make sure the alias appears [PERSON_NAME] alias of the main mailbox. Also make sure the address used for the test exactly matches the alias created. A mistake in the name or domain prevents the message from being received. If the domain has just been configured or modified, wait until the mail services are fully operational. I want to reply [PERSON_NAME]>
An LWS alias allows you to receive messages on a secondary address, but it does not create a separate [ADDRESS]. From Roundcube, the alias address cannot be used as a sender address. [PERSON_NAME], you must use a compatible email client and configure the alias as the sending identity when the software allows it. I can't create an additional alias Your plan may have reached the allowed alias limit. Delete an unused alias or check the limits included in your plan. Also check that the desired address does not already exist as a mailbox, forwarding, or alias.

Bonjour,
